QUSD Community Risk Notice

What to know before you swap QUSD or add liquidity. No jargon, and no figure you cannot check yourself.

Depth $5.33Check The AddressBacked 1:1

An earlier edition of this notice said QUSD pools were “secure and audited”. They are not audited — no auditor has reviewed these contracts. QUSD is backed 1:1, and that is a separate thing from how deep the pools are. This edition gives you the measured numbers.

1. What you should know

Measured
  • The pools are shallow. $5.33 in total across every QUSD pool. Not “may be low” — that is the number today.
  • A $10 trade moves the price by hundreds of percent. The worst of the listed pools moves +718% on $10.
  • QUSD is backed 1:1. The backing is carried in the mint record, not in these pools, and a coin is never issued past it. Pool depth and backing are different questions.
  • No audit exists. No auditor has reviewed these contracts, so nobody should tell you they are “rated secure”.

2. Check the address, not the ticker

The Addresses
  • EVM chains. Canonical QUSD is 0xb57bf3c50f20096723b46645f741f632aef220fa, with identical code on BNB Smart Chain, Polygon, Base, Arbitrum and QVTX 42000.
  • XRP Ledger. The issuer is rJqjwDAwuSVoppQkrwjJSPzXivspYxZ239. Verify it before you add a trustline.
  • One live pool quotes the wrong contract. PancakeSwap on chain 56 pairs against 0x63c4664ceb3e93ef22d1e56826395fb1c927c118, which is superseded. Buy there and you receive the deprecated token. This is not a scam clone — it is our own older contract, and it is the thing most likely to catch you out.

3. How to stay safe

Practical
  • Redeem, don’t sell into a shallow pool. Redemption at par runs through qusd.quantvestrix.io/redeem. These pools are a listing, not an exit.
  • On the XRP Ledger, the official books are QUSD/XRP, QUSD/USDC, QUSD/USD and QUSD/RLUSD. On EVM chains, check the contract address of whatever pair you are about to trade.
  • If your wallet or explorer shows nothing, that is a known defect on our side: the contract answers TRUE to an ERC-721 interface check, so some explorers file QUSD as an NFT collection. Add the token by contract address and the balance appears.
